Using Landing Pages
Note: We are in beta, and actively developing. If this is wrong, does not look right, or incomplete, please forgive us and use the lower-right chat and we will answer ASAP.
A landing page is designed to collect leads from forms. Usually with an offer…in content marketing.
Using a Landing Page
You can:
- Turn and page into a landing page with a URL parameter or HTML snippet
- Go to a landing page from Inline CTAs and Popups
- Have a funnel link that turns goes directly to a landing page
See details on each below.
Landing Page Direct
Use the popup icon in the Landing Pages List page to open a popup.
Click to open the below landing page URL parameter or snippet for going to directly.
PRO-TIP: Create a blank page (or with a simple “Loading…message) and link to this page with the URL parameter attached. This will turn that page into the desired landing page by replacing all the pages content and styling.
You can also just insert the HTML snippet on a page to have a fixed landing page, like below:
<span saturn-landing-page-id="5dd6a3829924600018475a0b"></span>
Inline CTAs and Popups
Use destination Inline CTA or Popups to point to a Landing Page. This can convert blog traffic to leads with targeted offers.
There is a dropdown to select a Landing Page in the “Call-to-Action” tab of a CTA or Popup. Select the desired landing page and the button will take visitors to the landing page.
Funnels
Content funnels can have a Landing Page as the destination. All destination CTAs and Popups in such a funnel will override the default landing page and go to the funnel landing page … this allows funnel specific offers and experimentation.
Success URL
The “Success URL” is where you would give the offer…such as an eBook download.
